The Anker 735 USB-C Charger is one of the latest addition to Anker’s extensive lineup of charging solutions. Designed to meet the increasing demand for fast and efficient charging, this compact yet powerful charger offers a convenient and reliable way to charge your devices on the go. I just got this today and see how it is.
One-Port Charging Speeds: USB-C 1/USB-C 2: 65W Max, USB-A: 22.5W Max
Two-Port Charging Speeds: USB-C 1 + USB-C 2: 65W Max, USB-C 1 + USB-A: 65W Max, USB-C 2 + USB-A: 24W Max
Three-Port Charging Speeds: USB-C 1 + USB-C 2 + USB-A: 65W Max
The design of the charger’s output panel is derived from the spacesuit helmet mask. The bottom is decorated with space silver and uses NCVM and carbon dioxide laser engraving processes to achieve the visual look and feel of frosted metal. It is equipped with 2 USB-C and 1 USB-A. There are two USB interfaces, and the USB-C port is marked with a line frame; the internal plastic core of the USB port is blue, and there are widened PIN pins on both sides of the USB-A interface, which can pass 5A high current.
For the test, Anker 735 length is about 66.11mm, 38.28mm height and 29.16mm width.
In terms of weight, Anker 735 charger weighs 124.3g, which is relatively light considering that it provides up to 3 interfaces. Compared with Apple’s original 67W charger, the size is pretty smaller and more technological.
After testing, it was found that the USB-C port supports fast charging protocols such as FCP, SCP, AFC, QC3.0, QC4+, PD3.0 and PPS. USB-A port supports Apple 2.4A, Samsung 5V2A, QC2.0, QC3.0, AFC, FCP, SCP and other charging protocols.
This charger uses the newly upgraded Power IQ 4.0 to add full-time power distribution technology, which can monitor every second and adjust power every 3 minutes to meet the power needs of the charging device. It is helpful to save nearly 60 minutes of charging time. After using the Anker 735 65W charger for my Macbook Pro M2, it takes 2 hours and 20 minutes to get full charged and the measured charging power exceeds 63W.
The heat problems we also need to be concerned about after long time use.Let’s take a look at the temperature performance of the charger in a 220V/50Hz mains environment after charging for an hour. From the picture, it would be no need to worry about this problem.
As a well-known brand in the charging head industry, Anker has brought us many surprises with its new series of GaN charging heads. First of all, the appearance design of the product is still as excellent as ever. Both the shape and surface craftsmanship are in place. In addition, the charging head provides both C port and A port, which greatly increases user convenience.
Overall, I think this is a fantastic charger. What more could I ask for?
